In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, on 22 March 2020, the Prime Minster of Australia, Honourable Scott Morrison declared that ‘all non-essential travel is to be cancelled’ within Australia. As a result, Adventure Tours Australia will suspend all tours until 31 May 2020.
 

8.55pm Saturday, 21 March 2020 (AEST)

The NT Government has advised that it will close the Northern Territory borders for non-essential travelers at 4pm (NT time), Tuesday March 24 2020. This means that ALL travelers that plan on visiting the Northern Territory after Tuesday March 24, will need to self-isolate themselves for 14 days. Further updates will follow.

 

4.25pm, Friday 20 March 2020 (AEST)

All non-resident international arrivals are banned from arriving in Australia after 9pm Friday March 20, 2020 (AEST). 

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced a travel ban on all non-residents and non-Australian citizens coming to Australia. Please note: there will be limited flights for travellers that plan on departing Australia from the end of March 2020. Adventure Tours recommends leaving Australia if you plan to go home in the coming months. If you need to change your trip, please refer to the special Terms & Conditions below.
 

COVID-19 – Amendment: Adventure Tours Australia Booking Conditions

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, on 22 March 2020, the Prime Minster of Australia, Honourable Scott Morrison declared that ‘all non-essential travel is to be cancelled’ within Australia. Australian State and Territory governments have also enacted various border restrictions. As a result, Adventure Tours Australia will be suspending all tours until 31 May 2020. Adventure Tours Australia will continue to monitor government announcements and reserves the right to update its terms and conditions, tours and travel arrangements accordingly.   

 

EXISTING BOOKINGS

If you have booked a tour departing between 23 March 2020 and 31 May 2020, you may receive a travel credit with us to the value of 110% of the value of your original booking.  This travel credit must be applied to any Adventure Tours Australia trip taken before 31 May 2022.

Passengers on an existing trip as at 22 March 2020 may claim a pro-rata credit for the un-used portion of their existing trip.

 

Changes by You

If you have booked a tour departing on or after 1 June 2020 which you wish to cancel, you will be entitled to a travel credit to the value of your original booking. This travel credit must be applied to an Adventure Tours Australia trip taken before 31 May 2022.
