Itinerary
The Outback. The Red Centre. Down Under. The Never Never. Australia’s rugged, rust-cloaked centre has gained itself a fair few monikers over the years, but you really need to travel in the region to appreciate its size and scenery. Following an early afternoon pick-up, we set out across the stark, dramatic terrain of central Australia. The Territory’ can be a pretty unforgiving place and, in cruising through this landscape, you’ll quickly understand how and why it became so engrained in the Australian psyche. Many early pioneers brought camels over to help them traverse what was then one great big unknown. Today you’ll have the opportunity to see Australia just how they would’ve. Our first stop for the day is Kings Creek Station, an authentic outback station. By late afternoon we will have arrived at our night’s secluded campsite located not far from Kings Canyon.
