There’s a number of boat cruises available to spot saltwater crocs, stunning rock art sites and some gorgeous and (safe) swimming holes. Camping can be very comfortable with screened and permanently-erected tent structures, or if it’s not your thing then 3-4 star accommodation is available. Kakadu is suitable to almost anyone but birdwatchers, families, nature groups, 50+ market is most popular.
Adelaide to Red Centre (13 Days)
One of Australia greatest (and under-estimated) road is between Adelaide to Alice Springs. The secret lies in taking the less beaten track, the Oodnadatta Track to be precise. This road provides access to Lake Eyre, a salt lake 15 meters below sea level, the largest cattle station in the world, and following much of the original Telegraph station. Although the features en-route are amazing, your overnight many of your overnight stops will be exclusive, private camps in beautiful, remote locations. The Red Centre icons are of course included in this itinerary.
